Hershey Panther Junior and Seniors attended the North Platte Educational Planning Program College Fair held at North Platte High School today!!! There were many two and four year schools present, as well various military branches represented for the Panther students to visit with. This morning was a great opportunity for the students to learn about all the post high options that are out there!!! #PANTHERMOJO

Congratulations to HPS Senior, Brodey Hund, on being selected as the HPSEF August Student of the Month! Brody is a very active member of the Panther student body all the while maintaining a 3.76 cumulative GPA. Hershey teachers commented that Brodey "is a great young man who goes over and beyond to help out anyone in need. He always has a positive attitude that makes working with him a pleasure." Additionally another teacher stated that Brodey "is respectful and a great role model in the classroom as well as on the wrestling mat. He is always positive and serves as a great example for our younger students." Just a reminder that in ONE DAY (9.12.23) we will have Nebraska Portraits come back to Hershey to take our Pre-school student pictures as well as K-12 Staff & Student make-up/re-take pictures. Note that all ordering information will be shared with parents via email and will come directly from Nebraska Portraits approximately one week after pictures are taken. Families will be able to view the pictures before they order. People taking MAKE UP/RETAKE pictures will need to complete the form on the graphic below and turn it into their classroom teacher on September 11th. THIS WEEK Hershey Jr/Sr High School will be holding our fall state testing on Tuesday, September 12th and Wednesday, September 13th. We will utilize periods 6th & 7th to test on Tuesday afternoon and periods 1st & 2nd to test on Wednesday morning. The fall tests are a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to get a benchmark to start the school year which will allow us to see where each student is at as well as where we collectively are as a district. Looking forward to a great two days of testing from our Jr/Sr high students next week!!!
MEET DAY!!! Your Lady Panthers are hosting the 2023 Hershey Invitational TODAY at the Lake Maloney G.C. in North Platte!!! First tee times will begin this morning at 9:00 AM. This is one of two opportunities to catch the Lady Panthers in action at home this week as they will also host the Hershey Quad on Friday, September 15th at Lake Maloney starting at 12:00 PM.
