COMMUNITY PEP RALLY & FOOTBALL SCRIMMAGE!!! Come over to Hershey High School for the annual Community Pep Rally and Football Scrimmage TONIGHT!! A pizza meal ($6.00) will be served out of the HS concession stand starting at 6:00 PM with the pep rally in the Main Gym to follow starting at 6:20 PM. SOFTBALL GAMEDAY!!! The Lady Panther Softball team is traveling south to Holdrege TODAY to take on the Hwy 6 Trailblazer and the Alliance Bulldogs in a softball triangular!!! COMMUNITY PEP RALLY UPDATE: Due to forecasted temperatures, the Community Pep Rally to be held tomorrow, August 18th will be held in the Hershey H.S. Main Gym instead of Summers Field. The Panther Cheerleading team will be selling a pizza meal out of the concession stand for $6.00 starting at 6:00 PM. The Panther pep rally will follow in the main gym at 6:20 PM. The football scrimmage will follow outside at Summers Field at 7:00 PM. Looking forward to seeing Panther Nation tomorrow night!!! #PANTHERMOJO
7-12 OPEN HOUSE REMINDERS: All attendees will park in the NORTH or SOUTH parking lots and enter through the NORTH or SOUTH doors. Parents will need to complete Chromebook paperwork upon arrival and will need to pay a $25.00 lease fee before computers will be checked out. HPS administrations will begin the presentation at 7:00 PM in the MAIN GYM with KSB Law to follow. Please be reminded that due to construction, we ask all patrons stay out of the new elementary area until school opens on Monday, August 21st. 2023-2024 Activities are in full swing and we have some dates to let ya know about. Softball will throw the first pitch of the season on Thursday the 17th of August in Cozad. 1st pitch at 5 PM. They will then will turn around and head to Holdrege on Friday for a Tri on the 18th of August. 1st pitch at 4 PM.
Also this week we have a couple scrimmages taking place. Volleyball will scrimmage Thursday the 17th of August with 1st serve at 5 PM. Come and enjoy some good VB and then stick around for 7-12 Open House & Computer Checkout starting at 7 PM.
Media/picture day is Friday morning! We will need ALL (fall, winter, spring) Seniors that are in activities to come in at 9:30 AM for their Senior banner pictures. After that, coaches will have itinerary for their team/individual photos.
What's more, Football will scrimmage on Friday the 18th of August, Kickin' off at 7 PM in preparation for GAME WEEK next week.
Come support your Panthers (we are all, One Team) as they set off on their Journeys in the 2023-24 activities year!

7-12 SCHEDULE CHANGES!!!! If an 7-12 student needs to make schedule changes before the start of school on August 21st, they will have opportunities to come in starting TOMORROW, Wednesday, August 16th through Friday, August 18th. An organizational meeting for those in 3rd-6th grade interested in playing CYS Tackle football will be held at the Hershey Baseball-Softball fields Thursday August 17th at 6:30 PM.
If you have registered or would like to sign up, please plan on attending. The sign-up fee to the D&N Event Center will be $30.00. If you do not have a jersey from last year or need a new one the cost will be $25.00. You will be responsible for all other equipment.
