Due to no school on Friday, October 31 for the State Football Playoffs, our Panthers in grades PK–6 will celebrate Halloween a little early—tomorrow! We’re looking forward to a fun-filled day of creativity, laughter, and community spirit!

Begin at 2:15 PM
Attendance is limited to parents who have signed up or been invited by the classroom teacher.
Please coordinate with your teacher about food or allergies before sending treats.
🖤 Parade of Costumes – 3:00 PM (Competition Gym)
Parents and visitors are welcome to attend!
Please enter through the west Activity Center entrance and follow the signs to the gym.
Visitors will sit on the home (north) bleachers.
Doors will unlock at 2:40 PM.
The parade will also be live-streamed on the Hershey Panthers YouTube Channel — don’t forget to click the red SUBSCRIBE button so you don’t miss it!
👻 Costume Guidelines
No sprays, thrown items, gore, weapons, or scary masks.
Small amounts of face paint are fine (avoid arms and hands).
Costumes should be school-appropriate and manageable without assistance.
Students may wear costumes all day or change before the parade (see designated bathrooms in the full article).
🚗 Parking & Dismissal
Parents may park in the south or west gravel lots (handicap parking available in the south concrete lot).
After the parade, students will return to classrooms for dismissal.
If you plan to take your child home afterward, please email your child’s teacher ahead of time and meet them outside the west elementary entrance.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: HPS WEEK AHEAD
It’s a big week in Panther Nation! It is Red Ribbon Week in the Elementary School, Halloween festivities will be underway this week, AND the Hershey Panthers will take on the Cedar Catholic Trojans in the First Round of the NSAA C-2 Playoffs on Friday, October 31st at 5:00 PM!
Because of the playoff excitement and Elementary Red Ribbon Week/Halloween activities, here’s what’s happening around the district this week:

Monday: Red Out Day and/or Pajama Day
Tuesday: Twin Day and/or Camo Day
Wednesday: Halloween Costumes & Elementary Parade
Thursday: Spirit Day
Community Pep Rally – Thursday, October 30th
We invite the ENTIRE Hershey community to join us for a Panther Pep Rally on Thursday, October 30th at 3:00 PM in the Hershey Activities Center!
Let’s pack the gym and show our Panther pride as we send our team off to the playoffs!
Bell Schedule Update for Thursday:
The regular school day will remain mostly the same, but Periods 6–7–8 will each be about 5 minutes shorter, and there will be no homeroom to accommodate the pep rally.
No School – Friday, October 31st
There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday as our Panthers head to the playoffs!
Possible 9–12 Spirit Bus
Hershey is exploring the possibility of taking a 9–12 Spirit Bus to the playoff game on Friday. This will depend on driver availability and student sign-ups.
If it’s possible, there will be a sign-up sheet in the Main Office until Wednesday for students interested in riding the bus.
Let’s fill the stands, show our school spirit, and cheer our Panthers to victory!
