In advance of state testing during the month of April, Hershey Public Schools is excited to be holding an Academic/State Testing Kickoff TOMORROW (4.5.24) starting at 1:25 PM in the Main Gym. We are privileged to have UNK Loper student-athletes Zach Schlager, Aspen Brandich, Hunter Hayes, and Dolcie Hanlon coming to share with our student body! In addition, Mr. Thomsen and Mr. Cudney will have some exciting news to share with the Panther students! Please know that HPS will be running a FLIPPED schedule for classes to accommodate all eight periods equally tomorrow. SCHEDULE UPDATE!! The Scottsbluff Tennis dual that was postponed last week will be played on Tuesday the 2nd of April. The gals will play Scottsbluff at 1:30 MT (2:30 PM Central) in Ogallala. They will then play Ogallala at 4:00 PM Mountain (5:00 PM Central) in Ogallala.

All CURRENT 8TH-11TH students interested in going out for football next fall, there will be a PLAYER/PARENT MEETING with the new head football coach, Chris Stier, on TONIGHT, March 28th at 7:00 PM in the Media Center at Hershey Public Schools. Coach Stier will introduce himself and cover philosophy, expectations, and provide information for the summer calendar. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like more information, you may contact Coach Stier at coachstier@yahoo.com.

2024 WINTER NCPA AWARD WINNERS!!! Congratulations to the following Hershey Panther students on receiving the 2024 NCPA Academic All State Award! Each year since 2006, the Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools, based on their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity. Due to school being cancelled on Monday 3/25 HERSHEY SPARKLER tryouts will be pushed back a week. Practices will be 4/2, 4/4, 4/5, and tryouts on 4/8. Practices will be 6:00pm-7:30pm.
