Hershey Public Schools

Hershey Public Schools will be holding an SRP (Standard Response Protocol) Lockdown Drill on MONDAY, February 26th at 8:50 AM. The drill should last for approximately 10 minutes. The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office will be on site to assist with the drill. Please remind your son or daughter that the purpose of the drill is to help train staff and students alike of the needed steps to take in the event of needing to implement these procedures in the building. HERSHEY FFA DISTRICT CDE # 3!!! Wednesday the Panther FFA team competed at the District CDE contest in North Platte and came away with more honors!!! The Floriculture Team (Tatume Rinke, Makenna Still, Shelby Smyth, and Katie Abbott) placed FOURTH and QUALIFIED FOR STATE!! Additionally, Erika Rahn earned a WHITE RIBBON in Environmental Natural Resources. The Livestock Management Team (Ryleigh Melvin, Quinton Pinkerton, Ceiden Childears, Ali Vaughn, and Bryce Bode placed 3rd in the Dairy Section. The Hershey FFA team will have one more competition in February before beginning to prepare for state competitions in April! petitions to be held in Lincoln at the beginning of April!! PANTHERS @ SPVA SPEECH!!! The Hershey Panther speech team competed at the 2024 SPVA Championships yesterday in Hershey. The team came away with a 4th place finish with Lillian Fuchser, Katie Abbott, Samuel Sachtjen, and Rhett Edelman all bringing home medals for the Panthers. REMINDER: School WILL NOT be in session for PK-12 Hershey students on Monday, February 19th and Wednesday, February 21st.
