Panther Stakeholders,
The District would like to formally invite you to the Hershey Panther Pride Marching Band Exhibition on Thursday, October 19 at 2pm in the football stadium! This event functions as our official "state send-off" for our appearance at State Marching at Kearney High on Saturday. Their field show theme this year is James Bond and they’re excited to share the complete show with you before they head off to the state marching contest! The district will also be recognizing Jordan Arensdorf and Chase Moorhead who recently qualified for State Cross Country in Kearney, NE on Friday, October 20. The boys will run at the Kearney Country Club starting at 4:00 PM CST.
Please note that in an effort to allow all MS/HS classes to meet on Thursday as well as make sure K-12 shared staff can accommodate K-6 specials, Hershey Public Schools 7-12 schedule will run in “reverse order”. This means that we will start the day with 8th period at 8:15 AM and finish the day with 1st period ending at 1:58. From there all students will be escorted out to Summers Field to take part in the Cross Country sendoff and watch the Panther Pride Marching Band exhibition.
Please see the attached K-6 and 7-12 schedules for your reference.
Thank you in advance for your flexibility and understanding and look forward to seeing Panther Nation out supporting the marching band and sending off our cross country runners!
