EDGAR RENE SPANISH CONCERT AT HERSHEY HIGH SCHOOL!!!! The Hershey Spanish department hosted the Edgar Rene Concert as a part of the Justo Lamas Group this past Tuesday here in Hershey!! The Justo Lamas Group Concerts are an educational program with the primary objective of promoting the study of the Spanish language thru music. During the 18 years they have been taking the Concerts to Schools all around the USA, Justo Lamas has heard hundreds of teachers say how their program has created in their students interest and enthusiasm for the Spanish language. There were over 250 students from Hershey and surrounding schools that took part in this educational concert experience! A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Senora Bottom on all the planning, preparation, and communication that went into putting on an event of this magnitude. Also, THANK YOU to the HPS custodial staff for their work in helping set up and tear down for the event. Finally, THANK YOU to Senora DaMoude and the other volunteers that showed up to help out with the preparation and running off of the concert. Hershey was honored to host the event and hope that the students who attended the event had a blast!!!

Congratulations to HPS Senior, Katie Abbott, on being named the 2024 NSAA Believer's and Achiever's Local Award winner!!! Katie is involved in a number of NSAA activities including softball, play production, speech, and instrumental music. PANTHER PRIDE MARCHING BAND competed at the NSAB State Marching Championships in Kearney on Saturday. The band performed at a high level and received an EXCELLENT rating for their performance! Congratulations to Mrs. Brittenham, Mrs. Evans, and the marching band members on a tremendous performance and a great marching season!! Spectators going to tonight's football game vs Mitchell at Summers Field can enter the facility in THREE LOCATIONS: 1. Park in the parking lot WEST of the Activities Center Entrance walk through HS Commons to access the entrance of Summers Field. 2. Park to the NORTH of Summers Field and walk down the concrete access road to the entrance of Summers Field. 3. Park EAST of Summers Field and enter through the MAIN GATE on the EAST side of Summers Field. Spectators are NOT to walk around the South Side of the Activities Center to gain entrance to Summers Field. Thank you for your help in this matter! Looking forward to hosting the Tigers tonight!
