The Panther Branch – End of Year Announcement (2025–2026 School Year)
Dear Parents, Students, and Staff,
As we begin to wrap up another successful school year, we want to share an important update regarding The Panther Branch (In-School Savings Program).
The last day of business for the Panther Branch will be Thursday, April 30, 2026. This means students will have two remaining opportunities to make deposits for the 2025–2026 school year.
As a reminder, the Panther Branch is open each week on Thursday mornings from 7:50–8:05 AM. We encourage students to take advantage of these final deposit days as they continue to build strong saving habits.
Important Note for 6th Grade Families:
Any current 6th grade student who has made deposits over the years will receive a check in the mail for their account balance. Checks will be mailed directly to parents and/or guardians.
This program has been a tremendous success, and it would not be possible without the support and dedication of many individuals and organizations. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to:
Hershey State Bank for their continued partnership and support
Halley Falkena for her involvement and commitment
Mrs. Cynthia Elliott
Mr. Josh Connell
Mrs. Traci Messersmith
Our incredible Student Tellers
Our dedicated FBLA Student Volunteers
We also recognize and appreciate all of the behind-the-scenes efforts that make this program run smoothly each week, including:
Weekly setup and tear down, Providing student prizes and incentives, Organizing and distributing deposit booklets, Tracking and recording deposits / account management, Coordination between Hershey State Bank and the school, Training and supporting student tellers
Finally, we would like to thank our parents and families for encouraging positive saving habits and helping students remember their deposits throughout the year. Your support plays a vital role in the success of this program.
The Panther Branch continues to be a meaningful opportunity for our students to develop financial responsibility and real-world skills, and we are proud of the growth we’ve seen this year.
Thank you for your continued support of this program!
