Elementary HAL strengthened their teamwork, problem solving, and engineering skills as they worked to build catapults on Wednesday.
Each group developed background knowledge related to catapults, then created a machine design that included a base, an arm, and a method to store tension.
After testing their catapults, each group had an opportunity to siege the castle! A special "thank-you" to Mrs. Sarah Ostmeyer and Mrs. Brett Julius for organizing and running this event!
