We are excited to inform you that Hershey Public Schools will be offering summer enrichment through IXL. Released in 2007, IXL has set a new standard for online learning by delivering a truly personalized learning experience. Trusted by schools in all of the top 100 U.S. school districts and used by over 13 million students, IXL is proven to accelerate learning. IXL will provide an opportunity for your child to reinforce past skills, while also challenging them with thousands of other interactive skills. This is a fun way for your child to keep their learning fresh! IXL will be available for all students who recently completed Kindergarten-6th grade for the 2021-2022 school year.
Login Information
Enclosed in your child’s end of the year progress report, you will find your child’s login information for IXL. If you are unable to locate your child’s login information, please call the elementary office at (308) 368-5572. Stacy Carder will be able to provide you with this information. To login, go to: https://www.ixl.com/ Students can access IXL through any of these devices: computer, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Kindle apps!
How to get Started!
After logging in, click on the “Learning” tab
2. Next, your child will choose from one of the two following tabs: The “Recommendations” tab allows students to pick-up right where they left off this past school year.
OR students may utilize the Personal NWEA MAP Growth Study Plan, found in the “Skill Plans” tab. This option allows students to work from their most recent District Test Scores. Both are okay to operate in.

Summer IXL Leaderboard Challenge
Students will be challenged to correctly answer 2,000 questions by July 31, 2022. For every 100 correctly answered questions, students will receive 1 ticket. Students are capable of receiving up to 20 tickets total, if they correctly answer 2,000 questions throughout the months of June and July. These tickets will be put into a lottery drawing, in which each child becomes eligible to choose from over 50 different rewards. The summer IXL leaderboard challenge drawing will occur during the first week of the 2022-23 school year. Let the Summer IXL Leaderboard Challenge begin!
