Hello! My name is Alexis Allan, and I am so excited to become a Hershey Panther next year! I grew up in northern NJ and moved to Colorado to attend CU Boulder. (Yes, I’m a Buff, sorry Husker fans ;) ) I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s in curriculum and instruction. I’ve spent the last 16 years teaching in elementary classrooms in Brighton, Colorado. I have enjoyed mentoring and building lifelong relationships with my students and their families. Designing engaging lessons and guiding my students to success brings me joy!
My husband and I recently moved to a small farm in Sarben and are really enjoying the peaceful lifestyle here. We love spending time outdoors, especially by the river or lake! Our two Labrador Retrievers, Remington and Jersey, join us on all our adventures. Family is everything to me! My husband, Bryan, and I have been together over 20 years and have a son named Simeon. I have one sister, Tiffany, who is my best friend. She lives in California, with my precious niece and nephew, and we try to visit as often as possible. Some of my hobbies include reading, playing piano, gardening, and paddle boarding.
I am thrilled to be joining such an amazing community and am looking forward to meeting many of you very soon!
