Hershey E-Sports players Talon Thompson and Noah Fletcher have earned spots in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate playoffs, putting them just two wins away from the state tournament!
The Panthers compete in Division 3, which includes all Class C schools across Nebraska. Out of 110 competitors in this year’s pool play, Talon placed 20th and Noah placed 60th, qualifying both for the 64-player playoff bracket.
The playoffs will determine which 16 players advance to compete in person at York University on November 20 for the state title. Hershey previously qualified for the state tournament in 2024, and these two Panthers are looking to take Hershey back!
Their playoff matches begin next week. Matches are typically held on Thursdays, but the schedule is still being finalized. Watch for updates as Talon and Noah work to punch their tickets to state!
Thank you for supporting Hershey E-Sports and cheering them on. Two Panthers. Two wins each. One exciting opportunity. Let’s go! 🐾🎮
