Hershey Public Schools is seeking input from families through two surveys to better understand the need for childcare and early learning opportunities in our community. One survey focuses on before- and after-school care for school-age children, while the second explores interest in an early childhood program for younger children. Families are encouraged to complete whichever survey applies to their household, or both if appropriate.
The surveys will help us learn more about family needs, preferred schedules, and interest in these potential programs. Feedback will guide our discussions and help us determine possible next steps. These programs are currently being explored, and completing a survey does not commit a family to enrolling.
We recognize the important role that dependable childcare and quality early learning opportunities play in supporting children and families.
