Two Big Roles, One Big Heart for Hershey Panthers!
October is National Principals Month, and we are excited to recognize someone who has taken on not one, but TWO important leadership roles this year — our Assistant High School Principal and Activities Director, Mr. Brent Bauer!
This marks Mr. Bauer's first year serving Hershey in this dual position, and he has jumped in with determination, enthusiasm, and a mission to make Hershey Public Schools even better!
One thing you quickly learn about Mr. Bauer is that he is ALWAYS looking for ways to improve! Whether it's finding new opportunities for students, strengthening our activities programs, supporting coaches and staff, or improving the everyday operations of our school, Mr. Bauer is constantly thinking about what we can do better and how we can make it happen.
And let's face it — balancing the responsibilities of Assistant Principal AND Activities Director is no small task! Between school days, athletic events, activities, schedules, and the never-ending surprises that come with both jobs, there is certainly never a dull moment. But Mr. Bauer embraces the challenges with a willingness to learn, grow, and make a positive difference.
His passion for progress and commitment to making things better are exactly what help move our school forward. He understands that building a successful school isn't just about what happens in the classroom or on the scoreboard — it's about creating opportunities, building relationships, encouraging growth, and helping every student find their place to shine.
We appreciate his dedication, his fresh ideas, his drive to keep improving, and the countless hours he puts into making sure our students, staff, coaches, and activities have the support they need to succeed.
Mr. Bauer, THANK YOU! Thank you for stepping into two demanding roles, for bringing new ideas and a desire for improvement, and for always looking for ways to make Hershey Public Schools the best it can be.
We know this first year comes with plenty of challenges, learning experiences, and probably a few moments of wondering how there are only 24 hours in a day! But we appreciate your willingness to take it all on and your determination to keep moving forward.
