Every day, we make choices online—what we like, share, post, and create, who we follow, and how we respond to others. These choices may seem small, but together they build our digital footprint and tell others something about who we are.
Before posting or responding, take a moment to think: Is this something I want others to associate with me? Is it accurate? Is it kind? A quick comment, a shared photo, or even a “like” can send a message. We all have opportunities to use those moments to encourage others, share something helpful, and show respect.
At Hershey Public Schools, we encourage students, staff, and families to talk about the choices we make online. Our words and actions matter, whether we are face to face or behind a screen. One thoughtful choice at a time, we can build a digital footprint that reflects who we want to be.
