Beginning Band Instrument Display Night – September 8
Hershey Public Schools invites beginning band students and their families to our annual Instrument Display Night on Tuesday, September 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Activity Gym.
Because of the way Labor Day falls on the calendar this year, Instrument Display Night is happening a little later than usual. We’re excited to welcome students and families for an evening designed to help our newest musicians get started!
The event is primarily for incoming 5th-grade students who plan to participate in beginning band. Sixth-grade students who are interested in joining band are also encouraged to attend, including students who are new to the district or have recently decided they’d like to give band a try. New seventh-grade students who have not previously had the opportunity to participate in band are also welcome.
Representatives from Yanda’s Music & Pro Audio will be available during the evening, giving families an opportunity to learn more about instruments and the options available as students begin their band experience.

Additional information will be sent home with students as the event approaches. Families should also watch for reminders through school communication channels.
