Prairie Wind Track Takes on the National Stage! 🏆
What an incredible experience for Prairie Wind as Walter and George competed on the national stage in Los Angeles!
In their first-ever national competition, both athletes stepped into a high-pressure environment and represented Prairie Wind with confidence and composure.
Walter Lloyd finished an impressive 9th in Shot Put and 16th in Javelin, while George Lloyd earned 11th in Shot Put and 17th in Javelin.
More than the finishes, we’re proud of how these two handled the moment. Competing at nationals for the first time is a big deal, and Walter and George stayed calm under pressure, competed hard, and showed they belonged on that stage.
Congratulations, Walter and George! You represented Hershey Public Schools proudly in LA and made your first trip to nationals one to remember.
