Hershey Public Schools is proud to celebrate Rhodee Hill for an outstanding performance in the 68th Nebraska Shrine Bowl, held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Ron & Carol Cope Stadium on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Rhodee represented Hershey on the South Team and helped lead his team to a 14-7 victory over the North Team. His strong defensive play earned him one of the game’s top honors, as he was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the 2026 Nebraska Shrine Bowl.
This honor is a fitting end to an impressive high school football career for Rhodee. He was selected to play in the Shrine Bowl after a standout senior season and became the first Hershey football player chosen for the game since 1991. Being selected for the Nebraska Shrine Bowl is a major accomplishment, as the game features some of the top senior football players from across the state.
The Nebraska Shrine Bowl is more than just an all-star football game. It also supports the mission of Shriners Children’s and gives student-athletes the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves. Players spend the week practicing, building relationships, and learning about the impact of the Shrine Bowl before taking the field on game day.
Rhodee’s performance showed the same toughness, leadership, and pride that he has displayed throughout his time as a Hershey Panther. Earning Defensive MVP honors on a statewide stage is a tremendous achievement, and it is a proud moment for Rhodee, his family, his coaches, his teammates, and the entire Hershey community.
