Band

Members of the Hershey High School Band were given a special honor last week as they were invited to perform at the annual Lincoln County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony in North Platte. The ceremony recognizes and honors the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers throughout Lincoln County and across the nation.

Selected Hershey band students performed both the National Anthem and “Taps” during the memorial service, delivering performances that left a lasting impression on those in attendance.

According to event organizers and attendees, the students received numerous compliments following the ceremony, with several individuals commenting that Hershey was “one of the best groups to have ever come and played” for the annual event.

The opportunity provided students with a meaningful way to serve their community while representing Hershey Public Schools with professionalism and pride.

The Lincoln County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony is held each year to recognize officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to honor those who continue to serve and protect local communities.

Hershey Public Schools and the Hershey community can take great pride in how these students represented their school and community during such an important event!!
