BAND

Hershey High School was filled with music and energy during the 2026 Bandapalooza, as students in grades 5–12 took the stage for an evening that showcased the depth and growth of the district’s instrumental music program.

Under the direction of Mrs. Rebecca Brittenham, with assistance from Lori Evans, the Hershey instrumental music department delivered a well-rounded performance featuring musicians at every level.

BandThe evening began with the 5th and 6th grade band, who performed three selections and demonstrated the foundational skills they’ve been building throughout the year. The 7th and 8th grade band followed with additional performances by the Jazz Band and Percussion Line which added variety and energy to the evenings program!

Band The concert concluded with the 8–12 band, whose performance showcased the culmination of years of dedication and musical development. Their set reflected both technical ability and musical expression, leaving a strong impression on the audience.

Band A highlight of the evening was the presentation of senior awards. Landon Kennicutt was honored with the prestigious John Philip Sousa Award, recognizing outstanding musicianship, leadership, and dedication to the band program.
