Hershey Public Schools is excited to announce that Brent Bauer has been selected as the new 7–12 Assistant Principal and Activities Director for the 2026–2027 school year.
Mr. Bauer brings a strong background in education, leadership, and student activities. He currently serves as the Activities Director and Assistant Principal at Alliance High School. In this role, he has led student programs, organized major events, and built a positive culture focused on student growth and involvement .
Prior to his time in Alliance, Mr. Bauer spent eight years at Ogallala High School as a teacher, coach, and Assistant Activities Director. He also has extensive experience in Wisner-Pilger Public Schools, where he taught and coached for nearly a decade .
Mr. Bauer holds a Master of Education in PK–12 School Administration from Wayne State College and is certified in school administration and K–12 physical education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, both in the classroom and through activities. He has coached multiple successful athletic programs and developed character-building initiatives that support student leadership and growth.

Mr. Bauer will officially begin his role in July 2026.
