Hershey Public Schools would like to extend a sincere thank you to several outstanding local businesses in North Platte for their generous support of our students and staff. Through their donations and partnership, these businesses have helped us celebrate student success, reinforce positive behavior, and support our educators.
As part of our elementary ROAR program, which recognizes students for demonstrating Respect, Ownership, Attitude, and Responsibility, several businesses donated certificates that were awarded to students during our recent ROAR Celebration Assembly. These rewards help recognize the many positive choices our students make each day and motivate them to continue striving for excellence.
We are grateful for the following businesses and their generous contributions:
Chick-fil-A – Nick Russell, for supporting our school community and helping provide rewards for our students.
Runza®, for donating free ice cream cone certificates for students.
Applebee’s, for donating a variety of certificates, including free appetizers and meals.
Qdoba, for donating certificates for free meals for students.
In addition, Qdoba went above and beyond by providing a full catered meal for our staff during a recent professional development day. The meal included chips, a variety of chicken and steak options, salsas, lettuce, queso dip, rice, beans, and all the toppings including cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. It was a wonderful way to support and appreciate our educators during a busy day of learning and collaboration.
We would also like to give a special thank you to Michael Ochoa, whose leadership and generosity have been instrumental in building this partnership. Michael has been extremely helpful in creating opportunities to support our elementary students both now and in the future, while also providing an amazing meal for our staff.
On behalf of the Hershey Public Schools district, staff, and administration, we want to thank the managers, staff members, and businesses who made these donations possible. Your generosity, commitment to education, and willingness to invest your time and resources into our students is deeply appreciated.
We look forward to continuing to partner with you to celebrate student academic success and reinforce positive behavior across our district.
If your business would like to participate or donate in the future, we would love to connect with you. Please contact:
