Hershey Public Schools is proud to recognize Rebecca Simonson as the February Junior High Student of the Month. Becca’s involvement, determination, and positive spirit make her a standout student both in and out of the classroom.
Becca is actively involved in volleyball, basketball, and track & field, as well as the Sparkler Dance Team and the Teammates Mentoring Program. Her commitment to balancing academics, activities, and service reflects her strong work ethic and dedication to making the most of her junior high experience.
Whether she is competing, performing, or mentoring, Becca consistently demonstrates leadership and positivity. Staff members appreciate the energy she brings to school each day. One Panther staff member shared, “Becca always has a positive attitude and smile each day.”
Another Hershey staff member added, “Becca is hardworking, respectful, and responsible, consistently striving to do her best in everything she does in our school and our community. I’ve had the privilege of working with her as one of her track coaches, and her competitive spirit, determination, and work ethic stood out at every practice and competition. She is not only dedicated to her own growth but is also a supportive and encouraging teammate!.”
