The Hershey Panther Speech Team continued its successful season with strong performances at the Lexington Invitational on January 10 and the Wallace Invitational on January 17, showcasing talent across varsity and novice divisions.
At the Lexington Speech Meet, Panthers brought home multiple top-six finishes.
Maddie Haddow earned a 6th-place finish in Varsity Humorous Prose
In Novice Serious Prose:
Natasha Parrish claimed 1st place
Addy Holes finished 2nd
Brynlee Dawkins finished in 3rd-place
The team carried that momentum into the Wallace Speech Meet the following week.
Maddie Haddow continued her success with a 3rd-place finish in Humorous Prose.
Abby Hiatt had a strong showing in multiple events, placing 6th in Humorous Prose and 5th in Program of Oral Interpretation (POI).
Lillian Fuchser captured a 1st-place finish in Extemporaneous Speaking
Livia Jones rounded out the awards with a 5th-place finish in Serious Prose.
The Panthers will be in action the next two weeks at the Broken Bow Invite on Saturday, January 24th and the Perkins County Speech Meet on Saturday, January 31st!
