Hershey Public Schools is proud to recognize JT Lantis as the December High School Student of the Month. JT, a senior at Hershey High School, is an outstanding student, athlete, and leader whose dedication shines in every aspect of his school experience.
JT is involved in football, basketball, track and field, high school rodeo, National Honor Society, and the Teammates mentoring program. Balancing a rigorous schedule of academics and activities, JT has achieved extraordinary success—he currently ranks 2nd in his class and maintains a 4.0 GPA. His commitment to excellence demonstrates both discipline and character, qualities that make him a role model at HPS.
Teachers and staff shared their admiration for JT’s leadership, integrity, and consistently positive impact on the school community. One teacher stated that “JT is an exceptional student whose work ethic stands out every single day. He not only pushes himself academically but also invests in making his classmates and Hershey Public Schools better. JT leads by example, demonstrating integrity, positivity, and responsibility both in and out of the classroom.” Another HPS staff member said that “JT is the mentor I want for my children. He is wise beyond his age and has set the expectations high for leadership in the student body. JT is always positive and very welcoming when interacting with others. He is responsible, coachable, respectful, and always willing/wanting to learn both in the classroom and on the field/court. JT represents Panthers Nation well!!!”
JT’s achievements in athletics, academics, mentoring, and leadership highlight the qualities that make him an exceptional representative of Hershey High School. His dedication, humility, and positive influence are felt by students and staff alike.
