Today, our Preschool through 3rd Grade students walked to the Hershey Volunteer Fire Department to learn all about fire safety! Students enjoyed touring the station, exploring the fire trucks, and learning what to do in case of an emergency.
A huge thank you goes out to our amazing HVFD volunteers — Bryant Schipporeit, Alec Janacek, Douglas Lannigan, Casey McGeeney, Dakota Burkert, Ben Burkert, Amanda Snide, and Toby Tobiasson — for taking time out of their day to teach our students and for always keeping our community safe.
Your dedication, service, and commitment to protecting our town do not go unnoticed. You are true hometown heroes, and our students loved their visit today!
🔥 Fire Safety Week runs from October 5–11, and our classrooms will continue engaging in fun, hands-on activities and meaningful conversations about staying safe during emergencies.
Let’s all take a moment to thank our HVFD volunteers for their time, bravery, and service to Hershey! 🖤💛
