Hershey Public Schools is proud to announce Matias Guzman (3K) as our Overall TK–6 Student of the Month for September. Selected from across all grade levels that participate in Student of the Month, Matias stands out for his positivity, perseverance, and leadership in the classroom.
Matias has kicked off his third-grade year with determination and enthusiasm. His teacher shared that he “has worked hard to start his 3rd grade year strong, models positivity when working on challenging tasks, shows a willingness to try new things, and ensures his work is completed with his best effort before handing it in.” Matias arrives each day with a smile and a positive attitude, and he consistently participates in class discussions and activities.
In addition to his academic effort, Matias exemplifies Panther expectations. He follows classroom procedures, responds respectfully to redirection, and makes choices that set him up for success. As his teacher noted, “Matias is going to crush some major goals this year in his classroom!”
