Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to announce our upcoming 2nd Annual Bump Up Day, scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This event is designed to provide a fun and meaningful opportunity for students to get a preview of what’s ahead as they transition to the next grade level.
🎉 Who Will Participate?
All students currently enrolled in Preschool through 6th grade during the 2024–2025 school year.
📌 What Do Parents Need to Do?
Nothing outside of a typical school day! Simply ensure your child is present at school on Friday, May 9, and we’ll handle the rest. Students will participate in the event during the school day.
👕 What Will Students Wear?
All students will wear their new Panthers ROAR t-shirts, which will be handed out on this day. These were generously donated by the HELP Club. These shirts help build a sense of unity and school pride as students take this exciting step forward.
🌟 Purpose of Bump Up Day
Bump Up Day allows students to:
Visit their future classroom
Meet next year’s teachers (both sections)
Get a sense of classroom expectations and routines
Begin forming connections with peers and staff
This experience is designed to reduce any nervousness about moving to a new grade level and to generate excitement for the upcoming school year. Students will gain a better understanding of what to expect and feel more confident heading into the summer and the next school year.
We look forward to seeing students take this exciting step as they “bump up” to a new chapter in their educational journey!
