Hershey Public Schools is proud to recognize Rebecca Brittenham, Instrumental Music teacher, as the March HPSEF Staff Member of the Month!
Mrs. Brittenham has been an educator for 17 years, with the past four dedicated to inspiring students at Hershey Public Schools. She leads the HPS Instrumental Music Department, which includes the Panther Pride Marching Band, as well as the Jazz and Concert bands. Under her leadership, the program has flourished, consistently earning top ratings at the conference and state levels.
More than just a music instructor, Mrs. Brittenham has fostered a welcoming and supportive community within her band program. Her students feel valued, included, and encouraged, often referring to her as “mom” for the unwavering support she provides.
Outside the classroom, Rebecca is married to Hershey Science teacher Jeff Brittenham, and they have two children who attend Hershey Public Schools. The Brittenham family resides in North Platte.
