Being a good digital citzen

Dear Students, Staff, Parents, and Stakeholders,

This year, we are excited to launch an initiative to help everyone in our school community understand what it means to be a good digital citizen. Digital citizenship is about being responsible when using technology and the internet. We will focus on six core rules: finding balance in our digital lives, caring about everyone’s privacy, understanding the power of words and actions, being critical thinkers and creators, and defining who we are online.

Each week, we will share information focused on these core rules, along with dynamic content through social media, our school display boards, and educational posts. These will include informative graphics, tips, articles, and interactive posts like quizzes, polls, and discussion prompts to encourage active engagement. We will also celebrate success stories, highlighting positive examples of digital citizenship within our district.

We look forward to working together to ensure our community navigates the digital world responsibly and thoughtfully!

Educationally,

Mrs. Jane Davis

Superintendent
