Jeff Steinbeck was born and raised in North Platte, NE. He attended Chadron State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education. Mr. Steinbeck’s first teaching position was in Trenton, NE as the 7-12 Business and Computers teacher. He also coached Football, Basketball, and Track while in Trenton. After two years in Trenton, Jeff moved to Hershey and began teaching Business and Computers where he was in the classroom for nine years and was the head girls basketball coach and the head boys golf coach. During that time he received a Masters of Science in Instructional Technology in 2003 from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He also received a Masters of Arts in Secondary School Administration in 2009 from UNK. In 2009, Jeff Steinbeck became the Dean of Students at North Platte High School. After one year at NPHS, Mr. Steinbeck moved to Adams Middle School in North Platte and became the Principal. He worked at Adams for five years and then started at Hershey Public School as the 7-12 Principal in the fall of 2015.
Jeff Steinbeck has been married for fourteen years, Kris his wife is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in North Platte and owns a private practice business. Their daughter Tahlia is thirteen years old and is in the eighth grade and their son Kalan is nine years old and is in third grade.
