The 2nd Annual Hershey Panther Soup Challenge!

On Saturday, December 10th, the Hershey Public Schools Educational Foundation is going to be sponsoring the 2nd Annual Panther Soup Challenge during the Hershey/St. Pats basketball games.  This event will offer seventeen different soups for the community and basketball fans to taste, each taste is a vote!  The student activity organization who receives the most votes/tastes for their soup and display will receive an award.  Prizes will be awarded to first, secon and third place teams and one team will win the spirit award!   All of the money raised during the game will be split amongst the youth activity groups. This fun event will be sponsored by the following businesses:  

GOLD Sponsors are:   Hershey State Bank/Hershey Agency, Hershey Super Foods, Jorgenson's Lawn Service/Jorgenson's Sod Farm, Kwik Stop, Arnett & Arnett Pioneer Seed, Wolken Construction, Simplot, First National Bank, Gary's Super Foods, Mentzer Oil, Trane, Equitable Bank, New Car Dealership, Perrett Construction.

Soup Tastings will be 5 for $5.00 or one bowl of soup for $5.00.

Each sponsor has been paired with a student class or activity organization! 

The Hershey Public School Education Foundation’s mission is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of education for students.  They provide student opportunity through scholarships, funding for student assemblies and activities that encourage academic excellence.  The foundation relies on achieving this mission exclusively through support from their members, donors, alumni, school staff, civic groups and area businesses.  Through your support the foundation has been able to increase scholarship offerings from 1 - $250 scholarship that was awarded in 2001 to $8,000 worth of scholarships that were presented to graduates in 2016.
