Facility Needs Study is Being Conducted

Hershey Public Schools is embarking on a facility needs study to determine what our current and future needs are for the students and stakeholders of our district.  Part of this study will be input from a community facility committee.  The first meeting of this committee will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 3:00 PM in the school cafeteria.  This committee will meet four to six times along with teachers, administration and board members. This study will look at current infrastructure to include:  electrical, HVAC, and plumbing and will also examine future facility needs and how they coordinate with curriculum needs.  The last time Hershey Public Schools studied facility needs occurred in the 2007-2008 school year.  If you are interested in volunteering for this committee please contact Superintendent Jane Davis at Hershey Public Schools.
